How do I install custom mods and maps?
Insurgency: Sandstorm uses Mod.io. You simply generate an API token on Mod.io, paste it into your server's control panel, and add the Mod IDs you want to your command line or config file. The server will download them automatically.
Can I run a Co-Op only server?
Yes! You can easily set your server's startup parameters and MapCycle.txt to only include "Checkpoint" or "Outpost" scenarios, ensuring it strictly runs PvE co-op against AI.
Do I need a lot of RAM for this game?
A vanilla Sandstorm server runs fine on standard RAM allocations (around 4-6GB). However, if you plan to run heavy mods like ISMC or host large custom maps, we highly recommend upgrading to 8GB or more.
What tickrate do the servers run at?
